Animated guide to washing your hands
Overview:
A screensaver animation that clearly demonstrates the correct method of hand washing.
Problem:
We are all concerned about the effect and containment of MRSA and other infections that can otherwise cause serious illness and related distress to those in our care. Hand washing compliance in the care environment is therefore of the utmost importance.
Solution:
An animation that can be set up as a screensaver on all computers that demonstrates the correct method of hand washing. It features the memorable character of Max who takes you through the process.
This guide was developed in association with Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to ensure “best” practice in the fundamentals of hand hygiene and to be quickly and easily understood and retained.

The animation is available in CD EXE, PC Screen Saver and DVD formats.
Accompanying this initiative are Max Badges, Badge Boxes, Posters, and Stickers.
